After 9 years of shibari, I’m excited to start my own venue. August 2026 is the 10th anniversary (!) of my first rope suspension and that’s when @E13Playhouse will open doors.
I need approximately £2,000 to make this happen. This money will provide:
- Suspension frame materials + installation
- Crash mats + appropriate flooring
- Insurance
- Many deeply unsexy things required to create a community space
Teaching and performing rope showed me cities, countries and communities I never would have known. Shibari transformed me as a person. I learned that life isn’t about finding yourself: it’s about creating yourself. Now I’m opening a dedicated creative space to share my experiences with others.
